This is a chance for young people to engage with the police and wider community to discuss hate Crime. As part of the National Hate crime awareness week.
Hate crime is totally unacceptable, but unfortunately in this current times we are experiencing it day to day. According to what our young people, they experience it in places such as schools, outside and in the community. It is important to to have an honest conversation about as a community so we can tackle this together. We are partnering with the Bexley Metropolitan, together we would like to collaborate on solving matters in the community. This is an opportunity to talk about issues such as: racism, stop & search and your rights.
Young people will lead discussions and we will would like to also invite the parents as well an any member of the community. Event will be conducted virtually.
